What: We will weed the rain garden and compost area. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
The rain garden was designed to collect and store rain water run off, reducing the volume of water entering the creek. They were planted with native plants, but like most gardens is being over-run with weeds and invasive plants such as pear trees.
Who: Any age
When: We will begin at 10 am, but you can join us when you can make it.
Where: The rain gardens are along the edge of the parking lot closest to the building.
Please bring: Water bottle. If you have gloves and tools, please bring them. We will have some to share.
We will bring: Water to refill bottles, extra gardening tools and gloves.
