Calendar Happens On Nov 19, 2021
Time 10 - 12:30
Expired

Description

Gleaning is working with farmers to harvest or pick-up any surplus crops they have and redistribute them to local  hunger relief organizations.

This series of events takes place just north of Oxford, near Yaeger Stadium.  (We email out the address to registrants the evening before.)

We are gleaning on this farm, weekly on Fridays from 10-12:30, through Nov. 19.

The bulk of all crops harvested will be redistributed to hunger relief organizations within the county.  Come be a part of making more nutritious food available to your hungry neighbors in the region!

Please, be aware that this is outdoor work that may require kneeling, stooping, and/or heavy lifting.
