The Conservation District has thousands of tree seedlings that need to get packed for residents to pick up. These seedlings are a part of the District's annual tree sale which provides low cost native tree and shrub seedlings.
During this volunteer event, we will be filling orders. This will involve standing, bending, and counting.
We plan to hold the tree packing at the Butler County Fairgrounds, but it may move to the Butler SWCD offices depending upon the Covid vaccinations that take place at the fairgrounds. If you sign up, we will email/phone to let you know. Both locations are minutes apart in Hamilton.
Masks must be worn. If we are at the fair, we will essentially be outdoors as both barn doors will be open. If we end up at the Conservation District, we will either be indoors or outdoors, depending upon the weather.
