ABOUT
We are excited to announce the special exhibit, Rethinking Porkopolis, that will open Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Chrisholm MetroPark. Rethinking Porkopolis, curated by Robert Gioielli, explores how the pork industry shaped the local environment and connected Cincinnati to the global economy in the 19th century. While at Chrisholm MetroPark, the exhibit will highlight the roots of America’s pork industry in Butler County. This Ohio Humanities funded exhibit is made available for visitors of Chrisholm MetroPark by the Friends of Chrisholm, MetroParks of Butler County, the Harriet Beecher Stowe House, and a grant from the W.E. Smith Family Charitable Trust.
