What's Respite on Demand?
It's a resource for families who are in CRISIS and need a BREAK and extra SUPPORT!
How does Respite On Demand work?

Kids are placed in small groups or with 1:1 buddies depending on need.

Respite On Demand incorporates resilience building activities layered with fun! Why? Because we want Pause kids to know they are loved, worthy of extravagant inclusion and ultimately we want to build their self-esteem.
Volunteer roles include:

Leading resilience based activities with a group of kids (all supplies provided including a script of what to say before, during and after an activity!)

Being a 1:1 buddy with a kiddo with high needs - think of it as being a kiddo's extra set of hands and friend!

And most importantly - have fun!
