The purpose of the Oxford RASKALS program is to help older adults with raking leaves and picking up twigs and sticks, which they are no longer able to do themselves.
RASKALS began in the Fall of 1996 in West Chester when an 11-year-old girl sent a letter to the township administrator searching for a project that would help her community.
- We all meet at Oxford Seniors, 922 Tollgate Dr. then everyone will leave and go to client’s houses
- We will be raking leaves and picking up sticks for local seniors who are unable to do so themselves.
- Each volunteer will receive breakfast before leaving to rake leaves and a coupon towards lunch when finished.
