Date: Saturday, October 15, 2022
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: Forest Run MetroPark, Timberman Ridge Area (1976 Timberman Road, Hamilton, OH 45013)
- You will enter the park from Timberman Road and turn onto Richard Fitton Way where the Forest Run MetroPark, Timberman Ridge Area signage is located. Then continue past the Welcome Center and toward the shelter to your right. Once around the shelter, you will find the parking lot next to trail intersection #1 and the Songbird Pond Trailhead (indicated on the attached map).

What to Wear & Bring:
- Long pants
- Close-toed, sturdy shoes
- Additional weather-appropriate clothing (Clothing with UPF, rain jacket, winter hat, etc.)
- Work gloves (Optional; Gloves will be available through MetroParks.)
- Sunglasses or protective glasses (Optional; Protective glasses will be available through MetroParks.)
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray (Ticks, chiggers, and other insects are present in this area.)
- Water bottle(s)
- Snacks
- Backpack (To carry your water bottle, etc.)
- MetroParks will provide all the necessary tools for the day.
Project Details: Volunteers will assist the Land Stewardship team plant over 100 native trees in Timberman Ridge Area!
Weather: I will keep an eye out on the weather, but please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing. We will work through light rain but will cancel if there is extreme or dangerous weather. You will be contacted at 8 a.m. on the day of the event if this volunteer opportunity is cancelled.
