We will be dipping the roots of the tree seedlings in terrasorb (a nontoxic, super-absorbent hydrogel) to keep the seedlings healthy and hydrated. Then we will bundle the seedlings into groups of five and bag them.
These trees are sold as part of the Conservation District's native tree and shrub sale. The District makes no money during this sale, it is held instead to increase the planting of native species throughout the county.
We provide: When we finish work at 12 noon, there will be pizza to eat. During the session we will have water and snacks.
What to bring: Wear old clothes that can get a little damp or messy. The terrasorb will not stain, but if you spill it on you, you will get damp.
