Honeysuckle removal at Silvoor Biological Sanctuary
This will involve cutting down honeysuckle and treating the stumps with herbicide. If we find trash, we will also try to clean this as we go.
In addition to signing up here, please add your info on what you are able to bring to the google file at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CuexzMWfuOE0ZooQ7liFcaaCETir1Bnw6H8UyE753gw/edit#gid=686011297
What to bring:
- If you have work gloves, loppers, or a saw please bring them. We will have materials to borrow.
- It will be late Fall in Ohio, so the ground may be hard and dry, or it may be really muddy. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
- We will be in an area with tall plants, so long sleeves and pants are recommended.
Parking: Parking is at Peffer Park parking lot. Then cross the footbridge and turn left.
Other:
- There are pit restrooms available on site.
- We will have water bottles, and jugs to refill if you bring your own reusable bottle.
