Description

Ellis Lake Wetland has become an important birding area. However, due to storm-water runoff  and recreational use of the bike trail, a lot of trash has been collecting in this area. We will have grabbers, bags,  and gloves available for volunteers to use while they help to clean this habitat for the wildlife.

Age range: Suitable for all ages. Ages 14 and under must have an adult with them. If you are under the age of 18, please have a parent or guardian sign our waiver found at www.butlerswcd.org/volunteer

Waiver: I have attached a waiver that will need to be completed for West Chester Twp, a 2nd waiver for Butler SWCD will also need to be completed. Both will be available at the event. If you are under the age of 18,  please have a parent or guardian sign our waiver found at www.butlerswcd.org/volunteer and the West Chester one that is attached.

What to bring: If you have work gloves and a garage grabber, lease bring them. We will have materials to share. It may be muddy, so please wear old clothing.
