Description

Each month Butler Soil and Water Conservation District picks a conservation project to focus on.In May, we will be removing invasive plants such as pear trees, narrow leafed cattails, and teasle from a wetland basin. Last year, we made massive inroads removing some of the willow trees that were taking over.

Bring: Clothes that can get muddy. If you have a shovel/spade, or any hand tools such as lopers and garden shears, this will be a great help. Gloves are recommended.

We Will Bring: Water. We will also have some spare gloves and hand tools.

Parking: Park along Ashford Glen Ct and follow the sign down to the wetland area.
