Level 3 Training (addtl dog training)

COVID-19 UPDATE:  We have reduced the capacity for this training to ensure social distancing requirements.  All participants MUST bring and wear a face covering.  No exceptions. You must be registered to participate.  Max 4 participants. Must sign up via Eventbrite.

Pre-Registration is Required for all Levels of Training 

How to register:

1. Complete the online volunteer application and you will receive an immediate confirmation email with a link and access code to sign up for Level 1 - New Volunteer Orientation. There are lots of ways you can volunteer at Level 1. Note: If under 15, must be accompanied by an adult who must also register.
2. When you register for Level 1, you will receive an immediate confirmation email with a link and access code to sign up for Level 2 -  Dog Care Orientation. If you are interested the dog care volunteer roles, please register for Level 2.  15 and older only
3. When you register for Level 2, you will receive an immediate confirmation email with a link and access code to sign up for Level 3 - Advanced Dog Care Orientation. If you are interested in the advanced dog care volunteer roles, please register for Level 3. Note there are two parts to Level 3 – a group session and a 1-on-1 session called Mutt Mentoring. 15 and older only

Please come prepared to stand and walk for the duration of our orientations. We are not able to provide refreshments during our orientations. Special accommodation requests should be sent to aafpets@yahoo.org. Please do not schedule your orientation until you have received verification that we can accommodate your request.

Note: You do not have to sign up for anything beyond Level 1 unless you wish to work with dogs. 

Level 1 is scheduled on alternating Saturdays from 10:00AM - 11:00AM. Please note that Level 2 is scheduled immediately after Level 1 concludes, for those who would like to complete both levels on the same day.  The group session for Level 3 is also from 11 to 1, but on the alternating Saturdays from Level 2.  Mutt Mentoring is scheduled on-line and individually.
