Come join us for our annual
Butler County United Way Day of Action!
Each year, on or around June 21, communities around the world come together to harness the volunteer spirit and improve the conditions in which they live. This "Day of Action" mirrors the work that Butler County United Way does all year long, by empowering people to affect positive change in their own backyard.
If you've ever read the book Stone Soup, you know that a community came together, bringing what little they had to offer, and together, they fed the entire hungry village. On Friday, June 23, we will be creating "Stone Soup" for the benefit of Butler County's Serve City in Hamilton, Ohio.
Serve City provides hundreds of people with meals each day and this number is growing. New families visit daily to meet their needs of food, shelter, and basic supplies. Everyday, Serve City needs volunteers and supplies to keep their mission going which is why Butler County United Way has dedicated this annual Day of Action to Serve City.
We are seeking volunteers and donations of ingredients for the soup. Please review the attached listing and join us in making a difference. This event is sure to be fun as we come together to Live United and help those in Butler County.
