The UniDiversity Festival is a collaborative effort to promote diversity and inclusion in our community. This program provides a space of intercultural connections and opportunities of civic engagement. The variety of activities available at the festival allow participants to learn more about the valuable contributions of the Latin American, Latino and Caribbean peoples and cultures that are quickly emerging as one of the largest ethnic groups in the United States. This festival is the kick-off of a month full of activities encompassed within the National Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month at Miami University, and Oxford Ohio.
Every year the festival attracts around 2,000 people that join and enjoy the festivities! The success of this signature program relies on the enthusiasm, energy and commitment of volunteers from Miami University, Talawanda School District, and Oxford community members and beyond. Volunteers play a key leadership role as intercultural ambassadors.
Thank YOU in advance for joining the UniDiversity Volunteer Leadership Team!
