Macaroni Madness Volunteer Event!

Building Block events are our way of joining together with our neighbors throughout Butler County to give back in a way that will build a solid foundation for the future. Each Building Block event is tailored to one of the building blocks for a good life: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.

Our 'Macaroni Madness County-Wide Volunteer Event' will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, where we will divide volunteers into teams to compete to see who can pack the most macaroni! All food packed will be sent to families facing food insecurity in Butler County in partnership with Shared Harvest Foodbank.

Before the volunteer event, help us celebrate National Volunteer Month by joining us for our Community Impact Breakfast on Thursday, April 9, from 8 AM - 9:30 AM at Edgewood High School. The event will include a hot breakfast, special volunteer awards, and more. The event is $20 if you wish to have breakfast and learn more about what Butler County United Way does.

Spring Cleaning Drive 

Butler County United Way is hosting an online Building Block event in support of Sojourner Recovery Services and those in our community that they serve. It’s our way of joining with our Butler County neighbors to give back in a way that will build a solid foundation for the future. Each 'Building Block Event' is tailored to one of the building blocks for a good life: Health, Financial Stability, or Education. March 1, 2026- March 31, 2026, we will be collecting cleaning and disinfecting items for a “Spring Cleaning” themed drive. These items will be used throughout the Sojourner offices and residential homes to ensure all staff and clients have the products they need to stay healthy and reside in clean living and working spaces.
